DRAGONS
It doesnât have to be perfect to be alright
and I ainât sayinâ to settle,
Iâm sayinâ love is all learninâ to see it right, right?
And lord knows the situation is tainted
but I canât imagine amateurs takinâ your place it
ainât no fairy tale, and baby I ainât slayinâ no dragons
âcause maybe, Iâm in love with one
And together we can terrify the villagers
and burn their homes down;
profound how we run amok
And yo somethingâs up here, itâs a spark clear in the darkness
Regardless of fightinâ weâre still far from dividinâ
One heart in defiance to science and common sense
We donât belong together, I see it, but I ainât gone yet
And neither are you, itâs that attraction
Dancinâ to the aftermath, music loud, laughinâ
Iâm glad that youâre fine with me
It ainât the song that played on our first date but itâs kinda pretty
A match made in heaven doesnât burn right
Destiny doesnât pay the rent
And I donât remember all the words to the song,
but I believe in them a hundred percent
A match made in heaven doesnât burn right
Destiny doesnât pay the rent
And I donât remember all the words to the songâ¦
We will meet in the middle of the riot
We will meet in the free falling plane
We will meet in a dark little corner of hell
We will meet one another halfway
We will meet in the warzone
We will have the time of our lives
We will push our hospital beds together
We will meet as the meteor ignites the sky
So one two, one two
Itâs like one for every dream that ainât gonâ never come true
and two for me and you, itâs love but itâs luck too
Sayinâ it through misery and gritted teeth: I love you
Everything weâve come through, memories are heaven sent
All the bad made the good all the more resonant
And I ainât hesitant to say it
This relationshipâs a monster Iâm confident we created
And these last days, remind me that your spirit never faded
When facinâ a breakinâ point: made a choice
Right brain tellinâ you that we should make love
Left brain tellinâ you that we should break up
and just stay in bed choosinâ not to wake up
wrapped in the daybreak, no one to save us
floatinâ away but never reserved
Iâll keep singing our song, even if I canât remember the words
A match made in heaven doesnât burn right
Destiny doesnât pay the rent
And I donât remember all the words to the song,
but I believe in them a hundred percent
A match made in heaven doesnât burn right
Destiny doesnât pay the rent
And I donât remember all the words to the songâ¦
We will meet in the middle of the riot
We will meet in the free falling plane
We will meet in a dark little corner of hell
We will meet one another halfway
We will meet in the warzone
We will have the time of our lives
We will push our hospital beds togetherâ¦
